The Waterfront's autumn family programme offers free activities along the promenade on Saturdays and Sundays, starting from lunchtime and running into teatime, from bouncy castles to giant seasonal games, on the terraces or indoors in the historic 1752 vaults.

It runs from 3 to 31 October 2026 and suits guests travelling with children who want an easy half-day out of the heat. The vaults give a wet-weather fallback, which matters in October.

Restaurants along the wharf get busy on those weekends, so book a table if you want to eat afterwards. No ticket is required.
