Teatru Manoel presents ARTi, the Maltese-language adaptation of Yasmina Reza's multi-award-winning play Art, as part of its 2026/27 season. Three long-standing friends fall out after one of them buys an expensive, almost entirely white modernist painting.
It runs about 90 minutes and is suitable for audiences aged 12 and over. It is performed in Maltese, so guests without the language may prefer the guided tour of the theatre instead, but for anyone who does follow it, this is a rare chance to see a modern European classic in a 1732 auditorium.
Performances are on the Main Stage on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October at 8pm and on Sunday 18 October at 5pm. Book ahead; the Manoel is small.
