This is the final edition of Heritage Malta's 2026 Museums by Candlelight series, with three sites open from 7:00 pm until midnight: the Domvs Romana and St Paul's Catacombs in Rabat, and the National Museum of Natural History at Vilhena Palace in Mdina.
At St Paul's Catacombs visitors can explore Malta's largest complex of interconnected underground Roman cemeteries — recently the first site in Malta to receive the European Heritage Label — with Maltese band Skald playing live from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. At the Domvs Romana, harpist Laetitia and violinist Stephen Scerri perform from 8pm until 11pm.
It is the best-value evening of the month, but be clear with guests that this one is not in Valletta.
