Notte Bianca is one of Malta's biggest annual cultural events, organised by Festivals Malta and held on the first Saturday of October. Streets, piazzas, churches, state palaces and museums are transformed into venues for live performances and concerts.
It is a single all-night arts takeover of the capital. Many cafés and restaurants stay open late into the night and buildings normally shut in the evening open their doors. It is the busiest night of the year in Valletta, so guests should book dinner well ahead and walk rather than drive.
The event is open to the public completely free of charge. The exact start time has not yet been confirmed.
