Science in the City

Science in the City

Science in the City is Malta's national science and arts festival, bringing together researchers, artists, local organisations and citizens to explore how science shapes our lives and inviting everyone to experience research in new and engaging ways. The 15th edition is themed "Research, Resist, Reimagine."

The Street Festival is centred on the Triton Fountain and the surrounding streets at the City Gate entrance to Valletta. It is genuinely family-friendly and spills out into the streets after dark, so it suits guests with children who want something free and lively. Expect crowds around City Gate on both evenings.

Entry is free, though some individual activities require Eventbrite registration.
