Beyond the Visible: The Metaphysical Worlds of Olaug Vethal is a large show of work by Olaug Vethal, a Norwegian painter who lived and worked in Malta for much of her life. It brings together her colourful, dreamlike portraits and Maltese landscapes, including paintings of the Malta Jazz Festival and a series inspired by Japanese art.
The exhibition is curated by Christine Xuereb and is shown in Space A at Spazju Kreattiv, St James Cavalier. It is a good choice for guests who want to see Malta through an artist's eyes, and an easy indoor option. Daily opening hours were not published.
